shot in the head.

I had a dream last night.

It’s a little sketchy now, but the parts which i remember, i pen down.

finger gun someone

I was in a room. Like and interrogation room. No table, no chairs. Just an empty, windowless room, with four grey walls, and a iron door, which opened inwards.

I wasn’t alone. i remember standing on the back right corner of the room. and on my left, there were three other men, about my age; still and silent. Two were crouching on the floor. I could tell that they were all shivering in fear. So was i.

We donned uniforms of a certain make – which i can’t make out at the moment, but i was pretty sure mine was navy blue. Then we heard a loud commotion outside the door. I couldn’t make out what the racket was all about – i don’t even think they spoke English.

The latch on the iron door clanked. It was unlocked from the outside and swung open. We all fell to our knees – i looked down and covered my ears; as if i had wanted to hide my face from the people who came in.

From where i was, i could see 4 other people came into the room. The other three men were terrified and pleaded for their lives. The sound desperation and fear in their voices shook me even more.

Then there was a silencer gun shot; and one man after another, fell lifeless onto the floor. Shaking in fear as the third man fell, i remember saying in my heart, “Lord, please undertake for my life.”

I was shot in the head.

Then it was all calm. Soundless. I caught a faint glimpse of my lifeless body, crouched and motionless in the room.

Then I woke up.

Whoa, that was creepy, even recollecting to write it down.

I did a search on Google and here’s what they think this sort of dream is about:

Getting shot
I keep dreaming that I’m getting shot in the head with a gun and actually dying. Everything seems so real about it. When I can’t breathe any longer I always wake up. – Karen, 34, Roy UT

There is a new you coming up that wants to take over your life and run the show. So it keeps killing off the old you. You are getting shot in the head as if to say this involves your thinking habits, your opinions, thoughts. Also ask yourself what might be going on in your waking life that makes you feel like dying, or makes you feel “shot dead”. Who or what is “killing” you. The fact that you can’t breathe indicates you feel suffocated by whatever issue this is. Luckily the suffocation, the feeling of being trapped, makes you wake up. That is symbolic of “waking up” or coming to realize something. If this dream keeps recurring, visualize yourself taking the gun from the shooter and asking them who they are and what their message is. Listen with your inner ear and wait to “hear” their answer (it will just sort of pop into your head). Whatever you hear or sense is your wise guidance from this dream.

– Dr. Katia Ramanoff

Pretty fancy, eh?

Til my next dream. ;-p

It’s really feels good to be back!

Sorry for the haitus – i had to sort of my life.

Thanks to the people who’ve come in and out of my life for the past 2 years, i’m inspired to pen down my thoughts again.

Daniel – a man after God’s heart

Today is the last youth service of year 2011 and it is a blessing and privilege to have Pastor Andrew share the message to all youths…

The message was taken from the book of Daniel (Daniel 1 verse 8), a man who is famously known as, “the man after God’s Heart”.

8But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Daniel ‘purposed’ in his heart…..
He was young then, but no one advised him what to do. He has determined that he will not defile himself before God. He was faithful to God. He had faith in God more than men.
In the same way, pastor also encouraged us to be like Daniel. God is looking for such qualities in our lives. We need to have that determination in our heart to stand for God. Compromising will only loose us the grace of God. When we have to make a decision in our lives, stand for God, then God will stand for us. He will send power from Zion to strengthen us.
The key thing is: Daniel did not make that decision all of a sudden. He made it as a result of walking daily with God.

And the message continues with a verse from Daniel 6:22:
22My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lion’s mouths, that they have not hurt me: foreasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
Daniel was ‘Innocent‘ in heart and mind…..
Daniel defended his innocence, his purity. And because of that, the devil ‘like the roaring lion’ was not able to come near him.
In the same way, we all called to have such innocence, purity in our conscience; like a toddler. After the parents beat them, they will still smile, kiss and hug back their parents. They have no grudges, revengeful spirit or bitterness. We are called to be like them. Jesus also asks us to be like little children in order to enter His kingdom. When the devil sees the innocence in our heart, he will not come near us.
Therefore, before we end this year, make the decision to walk with God. Trials will come everywhere, but don’t look at them, look to Jesus. Have a good conscience with God and men. Judge ourselves and be humble. Let our conscience be bold and pure.
The service ended with a very powerful prophecy from God. God was calling back the youths unto Him. He clearly asked us to CHOOSE:
a) Give our heart to Jesus, to have a pure conscience before Him, which leads to eternal life
b) Give our heart to the pleasures of the world, that looks good for a while but in the end leads to destruction.
Jesus wants us to give our heart to Him, to trust Him, and see how He will bless us back.
Let’s pray with a contrite heart and a humble spirit before God to prepare us for the coming new year 2012.
Praise the Lord!

I’m Held By Your Love

In times of difficulties,
In times of brokenness,
We come into His amazing love.

Let the lyrics of the song speak for itself…

I’m held by Your Love
Upheld by Your strength
On Your shoulders You bore me
By Your faith I stand

Cherished by You Lord
Treasured in Your sight
So close to Your heart
Held firm in Your hands

So awesome is Your love
So mighty is Your hand
On eagle’s wings You carry me
Your grace shall be my strength

So perfect is Your love
You sacrificed Your Son
Amazing love reach out to me
With joy to You I come

Not by my wisdom
Not by my strength
Gently You guide me
Lead me by hand

Total surrender
Jesus I am Yours
Now and forever
In Christ I now stand

I’m held by Your love
Upheld by Your strength

True Beauty

Many of us can easily look beautiful and good-looking on the outside these days…
With ample of make-up, fashion and beauty tips available everywhere;
(Even for free! Youtube that is)
A vast array of products, fashion designs and shops to choose from;
Anyone can just turn into someone looking Great and Spectacular within an hour, or even within minutes!

How many of us truly spend time grooming and growing the beauty within? That is our Heart, Personality and Character? Particularly…our Heart?

With the world’s standard, they measure us by what can be seen on the surface.
But in Christ’s standard, HE measures us by who we are in our Hearts.

And thats what truly matters in our walk of faith with God.

As His Word also says in 1 Samuel 16:

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

May His Word continue to bring us to an understanding of being His people on this temporary earth.

Glorify His Name!

The Potter’s Hands

A Beautiful Song to Share with you…

I was walking along Wangsa Walk today and was looking at the people walking passed me. When I look at their faces, some seemed to have sadness in their eyes, like there was a lack of Hope. Do they know that someone, somewhere out there loves them? Or at least, JESUS Loves them?

It’s so easy to get worried/restless/frustrated these days with the amount of pressures and responsibilities demanded of us at work, family, and life. When things do not go our way the way we want it to, it’s so easy to point fingers out and blame – at others or the circumstances and get bitter…and unhappy…

But do you know, getting bitter and worry is actually a sin to God? God’s desire for us is to have the Joy of the Lord in our hearts and giving thanks continually.

We just have to trust Him, even when things seem out of hand around us. It’s all a walk of Faith with our Savior. We just got to believe that He will make all things beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Here’s a song that spoke so much to me today. The lyrics spoke very simply about surrendering our lives into the Potter’s Hands which is Jesus Christ, who is the Maker and Giver of all things. I Pray that it encourages you too.

Praise the Lord!
