In the way we’re going, allow God to go before us.
When we allow God to before us, He blesses us with FOUR promises:
1) He will remove all hindrances
So what are the hindrances?
a)Iniquity between us and God
” But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins had hid (His) face from you, that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2)
Iniquity are things that do not allow us to do God’s will; things that keep us doing our own works only. Iniquity will also cause us to do evil and unclean deeds to those God sent to us.
b) The Blind and the Lame
Here, the blind refers to us if we are without spiritual vision and the lame refers to us if we do not walk properly in the truth
In the last days, God wants to bring us into His kingdom. But the devil will try to bring us unbelief. Do not give room to him.
However, if we allow God to go before us, He will remove all hindrances.
2) He will drive out those that are strong and tall
“Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God [is] he which goeth over before thee; [as] a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.” (Deuteronomy 9:3)
3) You will see the salvation of the Lord
“The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean [thing]; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel [will be] your rereward.” (Isaiah 52: 10-12)
4) He will make all crooked places straight.
“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:”(Isaiah 45:2).
God make the crooked places straight means that He chooses the foolish ones:
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;” (I Corinthians 1:27)
God chooses the Fool, the Weak, the Bare, the Despised and the Nothing (FWBDN)
Therefore, if you feel that you’re in one of the categories, fear not, there is HOPE. If we allow God to go before us, He will bless us with the above four promises!
Praise be to our God who is faithful and above all things!
